Juanita “Maxine” Hively, age 85, of Ray, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at her home. She was born December 21, 1928 to the late Denzil and Daisy (Hecker) Morey.
She was a 1948 graduate of Waterford High School in Waterford, Ohio. She worked right beside her husband building chain link fence for many years.
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Calvin) Waters and Kim (Delbert) Johnston; and her sons, Jim Hively and Jerry (Tammy) Hively; grandchildren, Nicci (Kenny) Stark, Jason (Savannah) Waters, Tiffany Greene, Bobby (Christina) Hively, Jami Hively, Robbie and Charlie Hively, Mark (Alyssa) Miller, Bryan Miller, Michael Hively; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfuneralhomes.com
