Estelle Dress, 91, passed away at her home in Wellston on Wednesday morning June 25, 2014. She was born in Waverly, Tennessee on January 18, 1923, daughter of the late Robert and Minnie McFadden Morgan.
She was a graduate of Waverly Tennessee High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting in her spare time. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dress, on January 11, 2005, two brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Robert and Vickie Dress of Logan, Ohio; a grandson, Eric Dress of Logan, Ohio; a granddaughter, Sheri (Jason) Huffman of Pomeroy, Ohio; great-grandchildren Zachary and Kayla Dress of Logan and Keaton and Aleya Huffman of Pomeroy; three sisters, Beatrice Oster, Evelyn Ryan and Jane Fain; and many nieces and nephews.
Estelle requested that cremation follow her death. A graveside memorial service at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston will be at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Jenkins Funeral Chapel.
