Mary M. Crow, 92, of Wellston, Ohio, went home with the Lord at her home on Wednesday morning, May 14, 2014. She was born in Wellston on December 14, 1921, daughter of the late Ark B. Allen and Viola Deal Allen.
She was a graduate of Wellston High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellston. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting with her mom and restoring old furniture. She was always there for her family’s help and guidance.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death in July 2006 by her husband of 64 years, Carl E. Crow; four brothers, Bob, Paul, Ray, and Jimmy; and two sisters, Sonja Lou Glasco and Erma Crow.
Surviving are four brothers, Sonny Allen of Wellston, Larry Allen of Columbus, OH, John Allen of Illinois, and Ronnie Allen of Oak Hill, OH; one sister, Barbara Clark of Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel on Monday from 12 to 1 p.m. Graveside services at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston will follow at 1:15 P.M. with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating.
