Joann “Joan” Hubbard

Joann “Joan” Hubbard, age 78, of Jackson, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Heartland of Jackson. She was born January 5, 1936 in Thurman, Ohio to the late Clyde and Inez Eddington Hubbard. Joann enjoyed reading, quilting and feeding the animals. 

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Opal Sharp of Jackson, Bascum Hubbard of Wellston, Gary Dean Hubbard of Texas, Hazel Dumm of Stoutsville and Betty Halley of Gallipolis, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Columbus, David, Blain, Bill, Jr., Marvin and Curtis Wayne, and sisters, Lula Rose, Arminta Lambert and Eula Mae Detty. 

Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Isaac officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
