Annita “Annie” Rose Brewer

Annita “Annie” Rose Brewer, age 63, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 14, 1951 in Jackson County to the late Barnard Ross and Garnet (Hess) Harold. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnnie R. Brewer, Jr.; a brother, Barnard Ross, Jr.; and a grandson, Allen Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie R. Brewer, Sr.; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Kisor; grandchildren, Heather (Kevin) Park and John Aaron Brewer; great-grandchildren, John Allen, Izzabell Miller, Jason Brewer, Macey Keaton and Kristin Keaton; brothers, Mark Ross and John Carey; sister, Diane (Rowland) Barnes; and step-son, Kelsey Kuhn.

“Annie” was a vocational instructor at the Pike County Joint Vocational Center and always enjoyed helping people.

Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
