A memorial service for Darrold Michael Cope, age 65, will be held Friday, May 2, at 4 p.m. at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home in Bishopville, S.C. Rev. Craig Judd will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Darrold passed away Saturday, April 26 at McLeod RMC. He was born in Wellston, Ohio, a son of the late Daniel and Virginia Hayslett Cope. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 20 years. He was a Radar Maintenance supervisor with the Air Force.
Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Janice Prosser Cope, of Bishopville; also one son, James (Kacey) Cope, of Minot, ND; two daughters, Jeri Cope, Florence and Amanda Parker, of Bishopville; and seven grandchildren.
