Ina Marie (Ostrander) Yates, age 59, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on June 16, 1954 to Lavon (Chapman) Shields and the late Ron Ostrander, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Yates.
She is survived by her children: Bonnie “Michelle” Dannecker of Pennsylvania, Pollyanna “Teresea” Honaker of Ohio, Amy “Angela” Clay of Ohio, Jamie Clay of California, and Peter “Stewart” Schwendeman of Ohio; brothers: Ronald Ostrander, Jr. of Ohio, James “Jim” Ostrander of Ohio, Harold Ostrander of Ohio, Dave Ostrander of Michigan; sisters: Rebecca Allen of Ohio and Nancy Clary of Florida.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friend and caregiver, Brenda as well as many friends.
Ina loved sewing, crocheting and puzzle books.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson, Ohio on Thursday, April 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
