Carl E. Sorrell, age 76, of Hamden, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at his residence. He was born November 14, 1937 in Hamden, Ohio to the late Carl Douglas Sorrell and Marie Saultz Sorrell.
Carl was a 1955 graduate of Vinton County High School. He was a former machinist at McNally-Pittsburg Manufacturing in Wellston, from where he retired with 32 years of service.
Carl is survived by two children, Terry Sorrell of Georgetown, Texas and Rhonda Sorrell of Hamden; and two grandchildren, Chad Sorrell of Austin, Texas and Skylar Aaronson Sorrell of Georgetown, Texas.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Morgan Sorrell in 2011; grandson, Jason D. Sorrell, and his brother, John D. Sorrell.
