Stanley Clyde Johnson, age 63, of Columbus, formerly of Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born June 1, 1950 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Harold “Dug” Johnson and Virginia (Detty) Mosslander, and stepfather, Dale Mosslander. Stanley was a graduate of Jackson High School and was a member of Roofers Local #86 from which he retired.
He is survived by a daughter, Martha V. M. “Marcy” Johnson; his son, Stanley G. (Doug) Johnson and fiancé, Ciara Craig; grandchildren, Phylicia, Jessica, Stanley, Ayron, Troy, Danielle, Courtney, Morgan, Hayley, and Michael; great-granchildren, Creeson, Kolton, Tynslee, Brooklyn, Taryn, and Sophia; and brothers, Howard Johnson, Arthur Johnson, and Randy Johnson.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a brother, Bill Mosslander.
A funeral service will be held at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
