Kevin Jay Ross, age 50, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born November 18, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio to Roy Ross and Peggy Austin. Kevin was a tattoo artist and a jack of all trades.

He is survived by his father, Roy Ross of Hamden; children, Jacob Ross of Jackson, Brandon Ross of Jackson, Lindsey Fisher Picard of Jackson and Danielle Lambert of Hamden; granddaughter, Ava Picard of Jackson; sisters, Lucy (Pete) Betts of Dundas, Stephanie Coleman of Cardington, Becky Walton of Texas, Vickie (Mike) Abele of Wellston and Audra Ross of Jackson; brothers, Danny (Marsha) Ross of Columbus, Steven Folden of Powhatan Point, Rocke (Julie) Ross of Florida and Randy Ross of Hamden; special friend, Michelle Cook of Wellston, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Austin, and his grandparents, Nanny Jean Colley and Dewey and Ella Ross.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with John Pelletier, CLP officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Online condolences can be given to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
