Wayne Richard Neal, former resident of Jackson, passed away February 10, 2014 in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in 1926 to the late Walter R. and Mae (Harvey) Neal in Spencer County, Indiana.
Wayne and his family located to Jackson in 1964 when he accepted the position of President of the Southeastern Ohio Production Credit Association until 1986, when he retired to Virginia, then to Florida. He was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Jackson Rotary, Elks Club, and Franklin Valley Golf Course.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Linda L. Haley in 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Judy (Haley) Neal; daughter, Cathy M. Neal of Williamsburg, Virginia; son, W. Richard Neal and wife, Tisa (Keairns) Neal of Jackson; and grandsons, Benjamin K. Neal of Jackson and Patrick J. Whitaker of Jenkins, Kentucky.
