Alfred Gibson, age 59, of Wellston, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 6, 1954 to the late Robert & Alice (Nichols) Gibson in Hillsboro, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Alex (Elizabeth) Gibson; daughter, Alicia (John) Hamilton; self-adopted daughter, Jessie Farney; grandchildren, Haivyn and Kiara Hamilton, and Gavin Schackart; sisters, Anna Lucas, Rvena (Robert)Perkins, and Erma (Bill)Hill; brothers, Dwight Gibson, Winfred Gibson, Chester Gibson, and Milton Gibson.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, at 1 p.m. at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio with Pastor Russ Strange officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, prior to the service.
