Thelma E. Chose

Thelma E. Chose, age 92, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born August 24, 1921 in Mechanicsburg, PA to the late Joseph A. Moyer and Florence E. Wagner Moyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; brothers: Newton, Grant and Melvin; sisters: Wilma, Katherine and Grace; and two grandchildren, Don and Britten. She was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children: R. Jay (Ruth) Chose of Jackson, Lynnette (John) Dentler of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon (Jim) Paglen of Pikesville, TN. She is also survived by grandchildren: John, Stephen, Kelly, Will, and Annabelle; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Jackson with Pastor John Michles officiating, with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. up to the time of the service. Funeral services are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.
