Felix Bishop

Felix Bishop, age 90, of Ray, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at his home. He was born February 16, 1923 in Regina, Kentucky to the late John E. Bishop and Bessie Ann Branhan Bishop. Felix was a former employee of E.L.M. Corporation in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his children, Eddie Ray (Patty) Bishop of Pensacola, Florida, Myrna (David) Goff of DeLand, Florida, Jerry (Peggy) Bishop of Morganton, North Carolina, Jackie Lee (Brenda) Bishop of Slidell, Louisiana, Johnny Dale (Cindy) Bishop of Highpoint, North Carolina and Lisa (James) Daugett of Albertville, Alabama; good friend and neighbor, Jim Tilley of Ray, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, Felix was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with John Pelletier, CLP officiating. Burial will be in the Hamden Cemetery.
