John Timothy “Johnny” Longworth, Sr., age 41, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. He was born October 3, 1972 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Gillis Bruce Longworth and Bonnie A. Day Summers. Johnny was a former employee of the Waldron Lumber Company.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Collins Longworth; children, Joshua Sloat, Cassidy Pierce, Tessa Longworth and John Longworth, Jr.; sisters, Vickie Zinn of Hamden, Linda Longworth of Wellston and Mary Owings of Coalton, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Bruce Longworth.
