Terry Lee Crosier

Terry Lee Crosier, age 64, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. Terry was a man who loved life. He had a voice and a laugh that will never be forgotten. His style of living was to live life to the fullest and not to wait for tomorrow, because it was never promised. His little jokes and long, long drawn out stories were the best. If he told you something once, he would repeat it 20 more times. He will be greatly missed.

Terry is survived by his wife of almost 29 years, Patti. Also surviving him is his mother, Nola (Crabtree) Crosier, whom he always described as “the best mother ever”. In addition he is survived by two sons, Brandon (Tina) Crosier, Lyle (Edna) Crosier; two step-children, Megan (Frank) Rapp, and James (Candice) Lucas; and 10 grandchildren, Andy, Benjamin, Makayla, Jerrit, Mary-Grace, Collin, Grant, Blake, Dakota, and Madyson. He was the best papaw ever.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Crosier and a sister, Cheryl (Crosier) Wilson.

Terry was proud of having his private pilot license. He loved riding his motorcycle and his other passion was BBQing. He enjoyed smoking meat and putting on cooks. He loved his family time. Terry also liked to cook. Gravy was his specialty. His huge amounts of vegetable soup were legendary. Over the years he enjoyed his horses and mules. As a young man, he showed quarter horses and won many trophies. Terry was obsessed with his lawn. The amount of lime used was unbelievable. By the time he was done spreading lime, the entire lawn was white instead of green.

He loved his dogs, Coley and Sister-Dog. They are missing him.

He loved his grandchildren, and put no limitations on them. He saw his grandchildren as a chance for a better future. Another of his hobbies was fishing. When Terry did something, he went all out 100% full force; with pride. He liked going south for the winter and loved the warm weather. He really loved to travel. Anybody said “go” and he “went”.

Other than family, his proudest accomplishment was the business he ran with Patti and Megan. Crosiers Convenient Mart is a name still remembered in Pike and Jackson County. Finally, to sum it up with a big smile; Terry Crosier loved life!
