Carol Mae Perkins, age 73, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her home. She was born in Jackson County, Ohio, April 8, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Granville and Delphia (McCain) Woods; stepfather, Raymond Dalebert Woodruff; husband, Dean Franklin Perkins; three brothers: Leonard Blaine Woods, Paul Robert Woods and Donald Eugene Woods; and a sister-in-law and dear friend, Geneva Ann Perkins.
She is survived by daughter, Debra Sue Perkins Crabtree and son-in-law, Brian Randall Crabtree; three granddaughters: Brittany, Audra and Sheydean Crabtree; two sisters, Nancy Leorah Jones and Mary Louise Gambil; brother, Delmar Ray Woods; several nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Monday, October 14, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Leila Christian officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Monday. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
