Timothy Wayne DeLong

Timothy Wayne DeLong, age 50, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was born March 3, 1963 in Wellston, to the late Harley L. and Bertha V. Duhl DeLong. He was a dedicated father, loved to bowl, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Malone DeLong; sons, Ryan and Heidi Lindamood DeLong and Byron DeLong, both of Jackson; brothers and sisters, Goerge DeLong of Chillicothe, William “Bill” DeLong of Coalton, Joseph DeLong of Jackson, Hazel Vititoe of Edwardsville, Kansas, Brenda Feldheim of Boca Raton, Florida and Ruth Seel of Grafton; grandson, Waylon Colt DeLong; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harley “Pete” DeLong Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor J.B. King officiating with burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013.
