Lewis H. Vance, age 59, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday August 7, 2013 in Jackson, Ohio. He was born May 19, 1954 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Hurbert and Mary (Mullins) Vance. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Chester Vance, Jimmy Vance and Curtis Miller; and one grandchild.
He is survived by sons, Lewis, Robert Vance of Jackson, Robert Coffey of Dundas, Christopher Hemrick of Jackson and Sam Smith of Waverly; daughters, Melissa Vance and Brandi Freeze, both of Wellston and Amy Smith of Middleport; brother, James McDonald of Jackson; sisters, Rose Johnson of Beaver and Elizabeth Smith of Jackson; as well as 26 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. with Rev.
