Marshall “Mickey” McGhee, age 66, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013. He was born November 16, 1946 to the late Willard and Dorothy (Landrum) McGhee. He served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by daughter, Heather Hagan (Jason Via) of Jackson; son, Shawn (Kelli) McGhee of Jackson; grandchildren, Taylor Rippeth, Payton Rippeth, Noah McGhee and Jonah McGhee, all of Jackson; brother, Leon (Rita) McGhee; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter; sister, Doris McGhee; and brother, Edward McGhee.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfuneralhomes.com.
