Harry Dale Lightfoot, age 73, of Hamden, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born June 30, 1940 in Vinton County, Ohio, to the late Daniel and Ethel Murray Lightfoot. Harry was a former foreman and machinist with Capitol Manufacturing and he was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Griffith Lightfoot; children, Roger Lightfoot of Jackson, David Lightfoot of London, Steven Lightfoot of Orient, Penny Lightfoot Pickard of West Jefferson, Tony Lightfoot of West Jefferson and Brad Lightfoot of Ft. Knox, Kentucky; sister, Dora Rose Lightfoot Skeens of Coalton; mother-in-law, Ruby Griffith of Hamden, as well as 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Harry was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
In keeping with Harry’s wishes, his body was cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, July 11 at 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Rev.
