Ernie Lee Fisher, 58 of Jackson Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2013 at his residence. Ernie was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on May 29, 1955 to the late Eugene Gladys (Davis) Fisher of Oak. Hill, Ohio, Ernie was also preceded in death by brothers, John McGowan of Oak Hill and infant brother Harry Paul Reed.
Ernie was a 1973 graduate of Oak Hill High School, and served as Staff Sergeant in the United States Army from 1973 to 1976.
Ernie is survived by his wife of 13 years Barbara (B.J. Wies) Fisher of Jackson, daughters Shante Wies of Newark, Ohio, Cam Linville and Kristina Napier both, of Dayton, Ohio; three granddaughters, Alyssa and Alexis and Autumn Mosholder all of Newark, Ohio; two sisters Patty Fisher and Peggy Bloomfield of Oak Hill; three brothers Elmer Fisher, Jack Reed of Jackson, and Danny Fisher of Pensacola, Florida; and many nieces and nephews including a special niece that he was fond of Lisa Reed and Mandy Ratcliff.
Ernie loved his pets and considered them his babies and they will miss him very much.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Oak Hill Freewill Baptist Church, located on State Route 279 East, Oak Hill, Ohio on Saturday July 13, at 11 a.m. with Jessica Wies officiating
