Clarence D. Harmon

Clarence D. Harmon, age 62, of Oak Hill passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. He was born July 3, 1950 in Lima, OH. He was a former employee of the Oak Hill Foundry for 30 years.

He is survived by wife, Teresa Harmon of Oak Hill; son, John (Carrie) Harmon of Oak Hill; daughters, Tina (Dennis) Oliver of Oak Hill and Deb (Randy) Adkins of Oak Hill; mother, Viola Trace of Jackson; 10 very loving grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Thelma (Jim) Martin of Jackson, Jessie (Eddie) Tolliver of Jackson and Mary Sparks/Regina Smith of Oak Hill; brothers, Gene (Shirley) Harmon of Jackson and Bill (Missy) Harmon of Jackson; uncle, Thomas Nichols of Jackson; aunt, Ruth Nichols of South Charleston, Ohio; and very special, loving, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by brother, Cliff Harmon; sisters, Irene Harmon and Maxine Nichols; Step-dad, Earl Trace; grandmother, Minnie Nichols; and grandson, Brandon Lee Henry.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Craig Reichert officiating. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
