Alice “Janey” Ridgeway White, age 85, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013, in Dallas, Texas after an extended illness. Janey was born in Jackson, Ohio on March 25, 1928 to Carl Willard Ridgeway and Mary Martha Sunafrank.
She is survived by daughter, Martha Watson of Dallas, Texas and son, Karl Swab and his wife Roxanne of Arlee, Montana. Also, grandsons Demian and Phaedrus Swab; great-grandchildren Maria, Autumn, Elaina, Dallas and Aidan, and great-great-grandchild Marina, all of Montana; cousins, Jane Lynn Ridgeway Bragg and William “Bill” Clyde Ridgeway of Jackson, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by mother and father, aunt and uncle Eva and James Ridgeway of Jackson and uncle George Ridgeway of San Diego, Calif.
Services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Thursday, May 16, at 2 p.m. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
