Patty L. Snyder, age 73, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Holzer Medical Center-Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born September 28, 1939 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Charles and Jessie (Messer) McGoon. She was preceded in death by husband, Sanford Snyder Sr.; sons-in-law, Josh Logan and Jerry Gray; and grandchildren, Shannon Lee Snyder and Charles Hiram Carter.
She is survived by one son, Sanford (Lee) Jr. and his wife, Debbie Snyder; and seven daughters: Barbara (James) Hicks, Jackie (Jeremy) Trish, Carolyn Logan, Bunny (Mack) McGowan, Patty Lynn Gray, all of Jackson, Ohio and Betty (Denny) Carter of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Vicky (Jake) Perry of Rio Grande, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Mayhew Brown Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to www.mayhewbrownfuneralhome.com.
