Eldon Eugene Dennison, age 78, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. He was born November 23, 1934 to the late Edgar and Amanda Shopshear Dennison in Jackson County, Ohio. He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a member of The Promise Land Church, the Limerick Grange #1917 and the Local 83 Labor Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ernest and James Dennison. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 54 years, Bonnie Woods Dennison; sister, Ruth Swaney of Jackson; four sons, Ronald (Rita) Dennison of Ray, Ohio, Richard Dennison and Roger Dennison, both of Jackson and Ray Dennison of ZanesviIle, Ohio; daughter, Rhonda (Mitchell) Wiseman of Jackson; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Don Price officiating and burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at the funeral home.
