Thomas Jay Kisor, Sr.

Thomas Jay Kisor, Sr., age 77, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at the Four Winds Nursing Facility. He was born December 10, 1934 in Wellston, Ohio, the son of the late Clifford L. Kisor, Sr. and Beatrice E. Buffington Kisor.

Tom was a veteran of the United States Army and was a former employee of McNally Pittsburg Manufacturing in Wellston.

He is survived by his children, Joyce Kisor of Wellston, Jane (Eric) King of Amelia, Sherry (Dennis) Sprouse of Wellston, Tom (Karla) Kisor of Wellston and Ken Kisor of Wellston; grandchildren, Jeremy Riffe, Beth and Kaitlin Sprouse, Amanda Collins and Amber and Emily Kisor; mother-in-law, Lou Fannin of Wellston; brothers-in-law, Frank Hill of Lewisburg and Charlie Exline of Wellston; sisters-in-law, Marlene Kisor of Wellston, Katy Kisor of Ironton and Judy Jividen of Trenton, Mich.; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Jividen Kisor in 2004; siblings, Sherman Kisor, Frances Denney, Clifford Kisor, Jr., John Kisor, Jim Kisor, Marilyn Exline, Ken Kisor, Barbara Ruckel, Ida Bolen, and Steven Kisor; brother-in-law, Jerry Jividen, and grandson, T.W. Riffe.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Kincaid officiating.
