Ann Clark McCoppin

Ann Clark McCoppin, age 80, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born September 4, 1932 in Cuba, Ohio, to the late James P. Clark and Beatrice A. Rannells Clark.

Ann was a 1950 graduate of Wellston High School and attended the Rio Grande College. Following 35 years of service, Ann retired from the McNally Pittsburg Manufacturing Company in Wellston where she worked as a cost accountant. She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wellston, where she belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society, and was a former member of the Fairgreens Country Club. In her younger years, Ann was an avid champion bowler and golfer. Ann was proud of the love she had for her Irish heritage, as well as her love for all of her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles L. McCoppin; two sisters, Patty Massie (Mike) of Wellston and Sandy Mullins (Robert) of Wellston; sister-in-law, Irene Clark of Middletown, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jane Pope (Sonny) and Margaret Graham (Don); brothers, Jack Clark and Jim Clark; niece, Jenny Clark; nephews, Rob Mullins, John Pope and John Clark and her faithful companion, Cody.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home, where rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, at 11 a.m. at the Sts.
