Bill Dixon of Sacramento, California, formerly of Coalton, Ohio, passed away on October 6, 2012. Bill was born on December 11,1937 to the late Charles F. and Martha Hannon Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth “Bud,” Fred and Gerald “Get” Dixon; and sisters, Mary Click, Sandy Rippeth and Ruth Rice.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sumiko “Sue” Dixon; daughters, Laura (Nephi) Smalley, Launna (Mark) Fuge, and Michele (Greg) Garcia; granddaughters, Charlene (Rod) Browning and Evelyn (Matt) Johnson; one sister, Eleanor Briden; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
Bill retired from the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He dearly loved his kids and grandchildren and spending as much time with them as he could.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
