Virgina L. Childers, age 67, of Jackson, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Southern Ohio Medical Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born August 10, 1945 at home in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Frank and Dorothy Glass Johnson. She enjoyed working outside in her flowers, spending time with her family and was always willing to share her love of the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Childers; daughters, Darlene Griffith of Jackson, Melissa (David) Hill of McArthur and April (Dan) Hill of Jackson; sons, Jack (Betsy) Smith, John (Shari) Smith of Marion, Ohio, Jim (Brenda) Smith of Oak Hill, Ohio and Rick (Lori) Smith of Jackson; brothers, Frank Jr., Larry, Ronnie, Edward and Robert Johnson; sisters, Anna Lambert, Carolyn Raby, Brenda Puckett and JoAnn Olsen; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Barbara Folden, Virgene Kisor, Linda Manns and Marolyn Coffer.
