Margaret “Mickey” W. Flaker, age 87, passed away October 5, 2012, at Four Winds Nursing Facility, Jackson. She was born in Jackson County on September 20, 1925.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Maude Wilson, four brothers and two sisters.
Mickey was an active member of the Faith Lutheran Church and was retired from the Jackson County Extension Agency where she was employed for over 30 years
She is survived by nephew Keith (Carole) Wilson of Jackson, nieces Kathy Bond of Jackson and Sally (Tim) Odom of Wilson, North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church, 245 East Huron St., Jackson, on Sunday, October 21, at 2 p.m., graveside service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Faith Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.
