Geraldine S. Hagen

Geraldine Hagen, 71, of Hamden, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012, at her home. The daughter of Flora Lowe Woodruff, she was born January 13, 1941, at Pataskala, Ohio. Geraldine was a homemaker and a member of American Legion Post 476 Ladies Auxiliary of Wilkesville. She enjoyed attending the Hamden United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Gary (Heather) of Wellston, Jimmy and Joe (Tracy) of Hamden; daughters, Rhonda (Rich) McGhee of Thurman and Connie Hagen of Vinton; grandchildren, Donnie Jarvis, B.J. Hagen, Chris Jarvis, Randy Hagen, Jared Jarvis, Brittany Smith, Kyle Hagen, Tyler White, Jody Hagen, Kerrigan Hagen, Aaron Hagen and Taryn Hagen; and great-grandchildren, Skylar, Brice and Treianna Jarvis.

Geraldine is also survived by her brothers, Amos Lowe of Albany and Gary (Mary) Woodruff of Jackson; sisters, Magnolia Eberts of Hamden and Freda Woodruff of Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her caregiver, Charles Blinco.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hagen; a son, Johnny; her brother, Marion Woodruff; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Wilbur who also passed away on October 11, 2012.

Friends may call Monday from 11 to 2 at the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home, where a funeral service will follow at the conclusion of calling hours. Vern France, Bradley Hagen, Randy Hagen, Chuck Blinco, Tim Barnett and Tyler White will serve as pallbearers. Greenlawn Cemetery in Coalton will be Mrs. Hagen’s final resting place.
