Sue J. Turck, age 95 of Jackson, Ohio passed away Wednesday May 9, 2012 at Jenkins Nursing Home in Wellston, Ohio after several years of failing health. She was born April 27, 1917 in Polly, Ky. to the late J. Newton and Mattie (Franklin) Clay.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers, Cecil, Herbert and Lovell Clay; two sisters, Ida Paschall and Irene Reed; and one grandson, Brian Turck and nephew Lonnie Reed.
She is survived by two sons, Sam (Barbara) Turck of Jackson and Clay (Janet) Turck of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Deborah (Dave) Hendershot of Frederick, Md., Judy (Gib) Kiefer of Jackson, Jay (Kim) Turck of Jackson, Josh Turck and Megan Turck of Cincinnati, Ohio; great- grandson, Aidan Turck and his mother Courtney; great-granddaughter, Anna Marie (Lucas) Gratz; great-great-grandson, Nathan Gratz all of Frederick, Md.; two step-great-grandchildren, Klay Arthur and Kendel Arthur of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. At Sue’s request she will be cremated. A private graveside service at a later date with the family members will be conducted at their convenience.
