Anita Stewart, age 49, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her home. She was born October 2, 1962 in Kentucky. Anita was an employee of The First National Bank and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellston.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Stewart; children, Alex Stewart and Julia Stewart, both of Jackson; mother and step-father, Linda and Mac Massie of Hamden; father, Curt Prater of Kentucky; brothers, Curt Prater, Jr. and Ryan Prater, both of Vinton County; sister, Tina Christian of Gallia County; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor David McManis officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
