Patricia Ann Hoops “Patty,” age 80, of Wellston, passed away February 17, at her residence. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio on November 24, 1941.
Patty was an avid bird watcher and loved feeding the birds, she also enjoyed gardening, thrifting, crafts and her “Babies:” 3 dogs. She was also a former Jehovah Witnesses.
She is survived by children: Cheri Crabtree, Richard (Michelle) Rippeth, Shunna Graham; siblings: Faye, Charlie, Bernice, Jimmy and Peggy; son-in-law, John Nicholson; as well as many grand, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parentsz; Wavy Brubaker and Glenna Brubaker; husband, Allan Hoops; daughters: Michelle Genese Rippeth “Sissybug,” Brenda Nicholson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 20, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, February 21, at 1 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.
