Della “Sis” Lovetta Crace passed away February 7, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Sis was born December 8, 1939, to James and Helen Malone. She was the second oldest of 11 children. On April 12, 1958, she married James Eskil Crace, who she affectionately called “Ek”. Their family grew quickly with three sons and four daughters.

Sis was a strong, hardworking woman who loved her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was a selfless person and found the greatest joy in life cooking for and feeding those she loved. Throughout her life, she was an avid gardener. She enjoyed canning and preserving all the fruits of her labor as well as sharing these gifts with friends and family. Sis loved creation and spent hours learning about plants and animals, and she was an abundance of information about both. Sis especially loved birds and spent much time and effort feeding them and enjoying their beauty. Sis was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed attending meetings and teaching others about God’s Kingdom.

Sis is survived by her children: Vince (Lisa) Crace, Barbara (Brad) Michael, Warnie (Ruth) Crace, Kelli (Jesse) Hill, Patricia Brock and Dianna (Richard Landaeta) Crace; her siblings: Roberta Frye, Joe Malone, Bernie Malone, Patty Tipton, Susie Leach, Debbie Rowe and Pam Wyant. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Kara (Mike) Rouse, Kristy (Mike) Nunley, Justin (Lauren) Griffiths, Kayla (Chad) Hickman, Jessie Lynn Hill, Alejandro Landaeta, Julie Crace, Valentino Landaeta;  eight great grandchildren: Madison Crace, Katie Nunley, Troy Rouse, Brynna and Trendin Hickman, Kaidance Griffiths, Avery Nunley and Evelyn Hickman;  and one great-great grandchild, Addilyn Crace. Sis was preceded in death by her parents: James and Helen Malone; her husband, Eskil; her oldest child, Glen; her brothers: Jimmy, Donnie and Dean Malone; her son-in-law, Chris Brock; and grandson, Philip Crace.
