Mitchell Wayne “Mitch” Weber, 67, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. He was born July 8, 1954, in Chillicothe, Ohio to Carolyn (James) Taylor and the late James Henry Weber.
He was a life-long, 7th generation farmer on the Weber farm in Jackson and was a member of the 4-H and FFA. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, drag racing, tractor pulls and the Ohio State Buckeyes, but most importantly he loved spending time with family and friends working on the farm.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jim Taylor; children: Brandon (Julie) Weber, Joshua Weber and Cole Weber; brothers and sisters: Cindy Wolford, Anita (Gary) Keifer, Eric (Kathy) Weber and Jeff Weber; grandchildren: Sara (Noah) Massie, Tyler Weber (Emily Call), Blake Weber, Kinsley Weber, Shayd Weber and Jace Weber; and an aunt, Donna Keller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Jeremy Weber; sister, Gina Hacker; and uncles: George Eddy “Pete” Weber and Marvin Keller.
A Celebration of Mitchell’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Scioto Volunteer Fire Department (Old Scioto School, 4701 State Route 776, Jackson) with Pastor Ed Johnson and Jim Taylor officiating.
