Mary Lou Partlow, age 83, of Wellston, passed away Monday, Aug. 2, at her home. She was born Aug. 20, 1937, in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Howard F. Collins and Opal I. Scott Collins. Mary Lou was a 1955 graduate of Wellston High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working outside in the flowers, especially her roses. Mary Lou was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellston and a former member of Victory Grange.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Billy E. Partlow; children, Susan Boggs (Randy) of Springfield and Stephen J. Partlow of Wellston; sisters, Phyllis Sims of Wellston, Marilyn Neal of Fostoria, Carolyn Morgan (Virgil) of Wellston and Martha Bitonte (Joseph) of Columbus; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Walburn of Wellston; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Charles Sims and Kerrol Neal.
Calling hours will be Friday, Aug. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Time Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
