Doris (Taylor) Miller, age 90, of Oak Hill passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 29 at Ayden Healthcare of Jackson. She was born April 16, 1931, in Cheshire, Ohio to the late Charles and Edna (Rife) Taylor.
She is survived by sons, Charles (Julie) Miller of Oak Hill, Ohio and Robert Jr. (Ann) Miller of Gallipolis, Ohio; daughter, Jane (Link) Stiltner of Oak Hill, Ohio; sisters, Mary Dameron of Waverly, Ohio and Edith Ridgeway of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren: Stacy (Ched) Adkins of Jackson, Ohio, Charles Jr. (Charman) Miller of Jackson, Ohio, Christina (Jason) Reese of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Natalie Miller of Seattle, Washington; great-grandchildren, Kyla Adkins of Oak Hill, Ohio, Leanna (Garrin) Adkins-Stiltner of Columbus, Ohio, Mahayla Reese of Oak Hill, Ohio, Peyton Miller of Jackson, Ohio, Blade Reese of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Andrew Miller of Jackson, Ohio; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Taylor and Helen Taylor; and brother-in-law, Paul McGhee of Jackson, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Miller in 1998; daughter, Edna Lavery in 1986; brothers, Bus, Ivan, Carl, Clyde, and Harold Taylor; and sisters: Alice Brisker, Dorothy Lewis, and Grace McGhee.
Doris was a retired Oak Hill Schools bus driver and former manager of the Jr. Food Mart in Oak Hill. She was a proud member of the Oak Hill Nazarene Church.
