Rosemary C. Kozma, the little mama, was born on Oct. 18, 1943 and died on Oct. 6, 2018 at the age of 74. A retired school teacher, wife, and mother, she is survived by her husband, Roger Kozma; daughter, Wendi Kozma (Tracy Osborne); and her extended family.
Prior to and during retirement, she enjoyed reading cozy mysteries and books about the Amish. She also spent her days solving puzzles, watching the Hallmark Mystery Channel, Judge Judy and Jeopardy. She particularly enjoyed talking to her brother Forest on the phone, taking naps in her lift chair, finding humorous tee shirts for her nephew Ryan, and OSU gear for her nephew Randy, as well as giving extra treats to the dog and cat who shared her home. She also particularly enjoyed coffee with Wendi in the mornings.
During her final days she was cared for by many people, including her immediate family: Roger, Wendi, and Tracy; as well as her nieces, Rhonda McGhee and Robin Burton; great-nieces: Erica Stevison, Mikayla Burton, and Becca Burton; and great-nephew, Scott McGhee.
Per Rosemary’s request, no service will be held. She asked instead that a memorial dinner of sorts be held in her honor. The date and location of that event will be determined by the family.
In lieu of flowers, Rosemary asked that donations be made to: Faith Lutheran Church, 245 E. Huron St., Jackson, OH 45640 for the Toiletries Giveaway. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
