Hellon Dionne (McClaskey) Gonzales, 45, departed to be with her Heavenly family on Oct. 6, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on Oct.10, 1972, and Prior to residing in Wellston, Ohio, she made her home in Bryan, Texas.
Born to Tom D. McClaskey and the late Joyce M. (Wynn) McClaskey, she was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated from S. H. Rider High School, Class of 1990. She was married to Robert Gonzales in Bryan, Texas, and they were blessed with three children – two daughters and one son. She was a member of the Mormon Church at the time of her passing.
Hellon’s presence was a blessing to all who were fortunate to know her. Her hobbies included being an amazing baker, and recreating true Mexican cooking that resonated of her home state.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Joyce, and a brother, Kevin L. McClaskey.
Hellon is survived by her husband, Robert Gonzales of Bryan, Texas; two daughters, Gracie N. Gonzales of Chillicothe, Ohio and Faith R. Gonzales of Wellston, Ohio; one son, Kevin T. Gonzales of Wellston, Ohio; her father, Tom D. McClaskey, of Wellston, Ohio; and one sister, Rebecca I. McClaskey, of Jackson, Ohio. Other survivors include her grandmother, Rosa I. McClaskey of Jackson, Ohio, one aunt, Barbara McClaskey of Radcliff, Ohio, and one uncle, Leon Wynn, of Irving, Texas, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
