Larry Thomas Fisher, age 65 of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born in Jackson on February 8, 1952 to the late Glen Fisher and Verma (Whaley) Fisher, who survives.
Besides his mother, Larry is also survived by his wife and best friend, Linda; grandchild, Warren “Scooter Bug” Chipps; brothers: Dennis (Debbie) Fisher, James Fisher and Michael Fisher, and a sister, Carol (Bob) Porter. He is also survived by his long-time friend, “Ace” Hodge.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Chipps; brothers: Ronnie, Glen, Roger, Jerry and Randy Fisher, and a sister, Linda Morris.
Larry was a supervisor for the City of Jackson Electric Department.
The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 9, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson.
