Hannah E. (“Elaine”) Exline, age 47, a former resident of Wellston, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Regency Hospital East in Warrensville, Ohio. She was born May 26, 1968 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late William Henry Exline and Verginia Lee Thompson Exline.
Elaine was a 1987 graduate of Wellston High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Wellston, where she was a former youth leader and Bible school teacher. Elaine was an avid reader and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister, Grace Jones of Wellston; brothers, Kenneth Thompson of Wellston, William Exline of Jackson, Tennessee, Jim Exline of Chicago, Illinois and Henry Exline of Wellston; along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by brother, John Exline and brother-in-law, Donald Jones.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where the funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating.
In keeping with Elaine’s wishes, cremation will follow the service and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Evergreen Cemetery.
