Leroy Mosier, Jr., age 75, of Wellston, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2015, while surrounded by his loving family at the Jenkins Care Community. He was born February 1, 1940 in Gallia County, Ohio, the son of the late Leroy Mosier and Darlene Grubbs Mosier Rapp.
Leroy was a former employee of the Ice Plant in Jackson, where he worked for over 20 years. He attended the Petrea Free Will Baptist Church and he enjoyed socializing at the Jackson Senior Citizens Center and spending time with his family and friends.
Leroy is survived by his siblings, Margaret Lanning (Vale) of Jackson, Ava Denney (Casey) of Jackson, Larry Rapp of Wellston and Rita Jarvis (Steve) of Wellston; sister-in-law, Carolyn Rapp of Jackson, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Franklin M. Rapp, and brothers, Franklin Rapp and Richard Rapp.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Arthur Robertson officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
