Frank R. Dye, age 80, of Potomac, MD, passed away on February 15, 2015. He was born in Wellston, Ohio on November 26, 1934, and was a graduate of the Class of 1952. He was the son of Prof. Phillip Dye, a teacher at Wellston High School, and Esther Dye, a teacher in the Oak Hill school system.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Navy and a partner in Dye and Eskin, Inc., a McLean, VA insurance agency. He was a member of the Board of Governors of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.
He leaves his beloved wife of more than 30 years, Ahuva Dye; sister, Phyliss Watson of Arlington, MA; step-sons, Michael (Carol) Goldberg of Houston, TX and Steven (Robyn) Goldberg of San Diego, CA; their children, Melissa, Matthew, Jonathan, Lexi and Danny and his nephews, James Watson and Eric Watson.
Private burial services were held on February 18, at the Garden of Remembrance Cemetery. A celebration of Frank’s life will be scheduled in the near future.
