Clara “Teresa” Yerian, 60, of Jackson, crossed over Thursday, April 2, 2015. She crossed over to be with her husband of over 40 years, the late Jim Yerian. Teresa was born July 4, 1954 in Gallipolis, to the late William and Marilyn (Hicks) Harrell.
Teresa was a hardworking woman in the restaurant industry. She achieved several awards, including Manager of the Year at Pizza Hut in Ripley, West Virginia.
She is survived by her daughter, Valeria Yerian (Damon Ray) of Jackson; son, Josh (Apryl) Yerian of Jackson; three beautiful granddaughters, Hillary Ray, Katelyn Yerian, and Candace Yerian all of Jackson; and two handsome grandsons, Hunter Yerian of Jackson, and Jeremy McManis of Colorado; step-daughter, Kelly Yerian of Jackson; three sisters, Linda Irwin of Jackson, and Carol Oliver and Cheryl Landers, both of Indian Lake; two brothers, Wayne (Sandy)Harrell of Jackson, and Tony (Bev) Huston of South Carolina; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and several cousins in the Diamond area.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marybeth Twomey of Alabama.
She loved life and all of her friends and family that was in it. She will be greatly missed by many.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 12-2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A service will immediately follow at 2p.m. with Cheryl Browning officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
