Diane Jacobs, 58, of Wellston, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014. The daughter of John H. and Pearl Denney Morgan, she was born March 21, 1956, at Gallipolis. Her last place of employment was at General Mills as a Q.C. Tech. Diane was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
On August 7, 1976, she became the bride of Mark Jacobs and he survives along with their two daughters, Angie (Mark) Vickers of McArthur and Shelly (Tracy) Stalnaker of Oak Hill. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Mark Vickers, Jessica, Lexie and Lynsey Logsdon; her siblings, John (Kathy) of Glen Roy, Don (Susan) of Jackson, Robert (Katherine) of Coalton, and Bonnie (Jim) Swartzentruber of Millersberg; her mother-in-law, Maxine Jacobs; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her good friend, Brenda Daniels.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Lorna Jean Morgan.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Steve Mathews, will be Thursday, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home, Wellston.
