Ann Rhea, age 80, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Four Winds of Jackson. She was born February 28, 1934 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Charles and Gracie Maude (Gilliland) Wastier.
Ann was a 1951 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, later to become Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Jack Rhea of Jackson, Ohio; children, Sue Bailey-Lee (Mike) of Powhatan, Virginia, Judy Bailey-Exline (Dale) of Jackson, Ohio and Michele Rhea-Phillips (Larry) of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren, Josh Exline (Missy) of Jackson, Ohio, Eric Prindes (Jamie) of Midlothian, Virginia, Grace Exline-Yates (Brian) of Jackson, Ohio, and Tiffany Phillips-Holdren (Dave) of Jackson, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Chloe Prindes, Elizabeth Erwin, and Simeon Exline.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by first husband, William Bailey; and sisters, Helen Jenkins and Edna Arthurs.
Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio on Friday, November 29, 2014 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bob Anderson and Pastor Chuck Eagle officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery.
