Betty Lou Riffle, age 78, of Jackson passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Facility of Wellston. She was born March 15, 1936 in Wellston, to the late Charles H. and Stella Argabright Montgomery. She was a cook for the Colonial restaurant in Jackson for nearly 20 years, enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
She is survived by her children, Pam Hayes of Wellston, Tammie Keller of Jackson, Sammie Clark of Jackson and Leslie (Eugene) Israel of Wellston; grandchildren, Mandy (Willie) McCain, Tammie Ann Bryan, Betty (Mike) Ross, Matthew (Tonya) Riffle, Jeff (Rachel) Israel, Angela (Jason) Straub and Tiffany Greene; great grandchildren, Nikki Black, Josh Coffman, Adrianna Carver, Jacob Carver, Hannah Ross, Dillon Bryan, Emma Riffle and Arrieanna Leighton; great-great grandson, Jase Stepp; and one sister, Sue Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leslie “Les” Riffle,a son Jim Riffle, granddaughter Jody Clark Black; son-in-laws, Fred Hayes and Bob Keller.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Hurston Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
