On Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 6:43 p.m., Pauline Hutchison, 82, of Londonderry, passed away peacefully at home following an extended illness.
She was born May 24, 1931, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the late Carson and Mallia Collins Gilliam.
Pauline graduated from Washington Local High School in Jackson County, Class of 1947. On December 16 of that year, she was united in marriage to Donald Hutchison, who continued to provide love and care during the many stages of her struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was involved with community activities and was a 4-H Advisor. In 1993 she retired from the Mead Credit Union. She attended Concord United Methodist Church.
She was a loving mother to three children and their spouses; Rick, who passed away in 2005, and his wife, Millie Hutchison, Cheryl Purdum and husband John and Scott and wife Tami Hutchison. Also left to cherish their memories of her are grandchildren, Jason (Kelli) Hutchison, Joe (Amy) Hutchison, Courtney (Rich) Lewis, Jenna (Tim) McKean, Zachary Purdum, India Hutchison and Reid Hutchison. Pauline was blessed with five great-grandchildren: Carli, Carter, Elliana, Emma, and Wiley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 in the Ware Funeral Home, at 121 West Second Street, Chillicothe, with Rev. Gerald Erter officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
